 Before the Storm Ram Island Ledge Light Cape Elizabeth, ME 6" x 6" Oil on Panel I wanted to get outside and paint today before the snowstorm arrives tonight. I did one painting before this that I wasn't happy with so drove to Fort Williams, home of Portland Headlight hoping to get something before it got too dark. I was painting in my car once again but I think I am starting to get the hang of it. It was getting Gray and dark quickly so I worked fast on this. I still need to work on the horizon line it's a bit lazy!!! Really looking forward to a nice fresh foot of snow just hoping we don't get too much ice on top of it. Praying our power stays on and looking forward to another outside painting session as soon as weather permits afterwards.

 Tulips 6" x 6" Oil on Cradled Panel My heart wasn't into painting yesterday. I painted this quickly without a lot of thought and wasn't thrilled with the final crop but I liked the colors and I always enjoy working quickly!
