Red Barn Stowe, VT 6" x 6" Oil on Panel This was a challenge all around. I ended up with a 45 minute window to paint something . This barn was easy access, good parking, good for Maury .... I felt pressured because I was out of the house and wanted to find a great subject matter, but there are always so many things to take into account. All sides of this barn here are in shade there were very little areas of light and I'm not sure if I made that apparent. I was covered in paint by the time I left because I kept putting my arm in my palette not realizing it and yes it was a red. I packed it up and then spent some time this afternoon trying to salvage it. I might work on it a bit more at some point but day 24 is accomplished!
